© Peter and Penny Williams 2009

These videos were made on an ordinary camera (not a video camera) and the results are unsophisticated, to put it mildly. But it will give you a good idea of what it is like to be in the midst of penguins, albatrosses and other Antarctic wildlife.

Clicking on any of the links below will open Youtube, where the videos are stored. Resist the temptation to click on “Related videos” at the bottom right of the Youtube screen. You’ll only find videos that are better than ours (some of them featuring what appear to be the same penguins making the same excursions across the same beaches). Stick to the selection under “More from peterjgwilliams” and you can’t go wrong.

Useful tip: click on the HQ button beneath the video to watch it in High Quality, and click on the screen icon to the right of that to fill the screen with the video.

The clips have sound on them, but it is mainly the sound of the wind.
